The Term “86’d” has been around for a long time.
If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant, you’ve heard it used when the kitchen is out of something. In a bar, it’s usually used to describe an unruly patron who has been removed from the premises.
Recently, the term has made national news, as the former director of the FBI is in hot water for snapping a picture of some seashells shaped to form “86/47”, 47 being a stand in for the current resident of the Oval Office.
Apparently, a joke about bouncing the president from office like a drunk being thrown off his barstool after getting handsy with a female guest one too many times will get you seriously investigated as though you were making legitimate plans to Lee Harvey someone.
It’s as ridiculous as Katie Miller calling her hubby a sexual matador(I dont even want to know what she meant by that).
But really, the message of those seashells… We’re in to it, Right?
